Dear Kirthevasan, Jeff and Barnabas,

It is our great pleasure to inform you that your IJCAI-2015 paper "Bayesian
Active Learning for Posterior Estimation” was chosen as the winner of the
IJCAI-2015 Distinguished Student Paper Award.  Congratulations!

The IJCAI-2015 Distinguished Awards Committee consisted of Mausam, Yevgeniy
Vorobeychik,, Emma Brunskill and chaired by Subbarao Kambhampati.  The committee
went through a very rigorous evaluation based on inputs from the IJCAI program
committee.  Three awards were given: distinguished paper award, distinguished
student paper award and honorable mention award.

As a winner of Distinguished Student Paper Award, your presentation of the paper
will be scheduled in a special session on the morning of Tuesday July 28.  More
details on the schedule will be available soon.  Presentation of the award will
be held in the opening reception on the evening of Tuesday July 27, 2015. Please
attend the reception to receive the award.
