[Research] Using the .fds file format

on the first glance the file looks good to me. i am working on 64-bit
machine and never faced any such problems. i think you have one of the
special characters in the attribute values that our fds system does not
like. stop by my office and we can have a look at your file. if i am not
around any research programmer must be able to help you debug it.
