[Research] Machine Room Shutdown Friday

Hi Everyone,

As some of you may know, SCS is shutting down non-essential hardware in 
the machine room on Friday at 11:00 PM.

They have agreed to keep our core infrastructure (web and file servers, 
etc) machines up, but we will be shutting down most of the LOP, LOQ, 
LOR, and LOS machines.

I am trying to avoid having to shut down the machines (LOP1, LOS1) which 
have long running jobs, but I cannot promise it, so if you are planning 
on starting a long running job, please refrain until Monday.

I will send more information as it becomes available.
