As described during the last session of the recent ACT-R workshop (slides
and video here <http://act-r.psy.cmu.edu/?post_type=workshops&p=35270>) we
have started a project under the NSF POSE
<https://www.nsf.gov/funding/opportunities/pose-pathways-enable-open-source-ecosystems>
program to develop a self-sustaining open source ecosystem for ACT-R. Part
of that process involves conducting a large number of interviews with a
wide range of stakeholders over the next 6 weeks to start refining the
ACT-R open source ecosystem. These interviews will allow us to better
understand the nature of your work, your future needs, potential
applications, and generally any insights that you would like to share about
the future of ACT-R.
If you would be willing to participate in a brief interview (roughly 15-45
minutes) to discuss these issues, please let me know by replying to this
email (just to me, not to the list) and we will follow up with arrangements
for scheduling an interview.
Thank you in advance for your help. This is an important endeavor for the
future of ACT-R and we will need the contributions from everyone in the
community (and beyond).
Best,
Dan
