The MathPsych/ICCM  2022 paper call either changed or I just noticed
that it has an 8 May, not 1 May submission deadline for this summer’s
meetings (there will be an online and a virtual conference).

The bonus is now two safety films.

The joint gathering of the 55th Annual Meeting of the Society for
Mathematical Psychology and the 20th International Conference on
Cognitive Modeling is the premier conference for research on
mathematical and computational models and computation-based theories of
human cognition.  Following our success in previous years, ICCM has
again joined forces with the Society for Mathematical Psychology to
create a conference in which all sessions are open to all attendees, and
cross-talk is highly encouraged.

MathPsych/ICCM 2022 is a forum for presenting and discussing the
complete spectrum of cognitive modeling approaches, including
connectionism, symbolic modeling, dynamical systems, Bayesian modeling,
and cognitive architectures. Research topics can range from low-level
perception to high-level reasoning. We also welcome contributions that
use computational models to better understand neuroscientific data.

*Two separate events*

The online conference format of the previous years was popular, but many
attendees also expressed a strong desire for an in-person meeting in the
summer of 2022.  To accommodate as many members as possible, we are
planning for the 2022 edition of the annual joint meeting of the Society
for Mathematical Psychology and the International Conference on
Cognitive Modeling will be *split into two completely separate events*:
a virtual conference followed by an in-person conference.

*Virtual MathPsych/ICCM 2022* will follow the model of the successful
2020 and 2021 meetings, with pre-recorded talks, posters, and a
discussion forum on our virtual meeting platform mathpsych.org
https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmathpsych.org%2F&data=05%7C01%7Ciccm-l%40lists.psu.edu%7C65014e39f51c448e239108da2c5abd6c%7C7cf48d453ddb4389a9c1c115526eb52e%7C0%7C0%7C637871065480671855%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=7iBXGx8lfvxKJObDrfkBc8tAT4%2B0PHevu5wvf%2BkgQjo%3D&reserved=0, from *11-15 Jul 22*. *In-person MathPsych/ICCM 2022 (Toronto, CA)* will be
a fully in-person conference, and will follow the model of our
pre-pandemic meetings, with live talks, poster sessions, and social
events.  We are tentatively planning for the in-person conference to be
in Toronto Canada, 23-27 Jul 22.  For more information,
including submission instructions, deadlines, and registration, please
visit https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmathpsych.org%2Fconference%2F10%2F&data=05%7C01%7Ciccm-l%40lists.psu.edu%7C65014e39f51c448e239108da2c5abd6c%7C7cf48d453ddb4389a9c1c115526eb52e%7C0%7C0%7C637871065480671855%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=5SzxaLdh1bnFTbu%2Fj7n3DRw%2Bi4obtq97QFKYh8Zw0F4%3D&reserved=0

We consider these to be two fully separate conferences, with separate
registrations, submissions, and deadlines. All members are invited to
attend both events (note: the same abstract can be submitted to and
presented in both events).

a PhD in psychology, cognitive neuroscience or related disciplines
carried out and published empirical research
knowledge of experimental design, statistics, modelling and data analysis
strong command of computer programming (R, Python, Matlab) is highly
desirable a strong sense of leadership and initiative
interest in interdisciplinary projects.

Knowledge of the German language is not mandatory.
