A new member saying hi to all...

I am interested in cognition research.
I am mesmerized by the sequence of neural events that lead first
to visual recognition, followed by a verbal cognition
as to what was just seen. With the advent of computers,
what you recognize verbally (in words) may dynamically change
in near real-time after the fact that a visual has been recognized.
This was not possible before without computers.

I am keeping my eyes (and ears) open on this list and would
be interested to learn from y'all.
