ACT-R 6 has been tested with ACL 7 (both the trial and full versions) and
should work without problems.

If you send me the details of your setup (OS, specific ACL version including
whether it's with or without the IDE, and specific ACT-R version details
from the load), the model you're trying to run, and the error and other
details from the run then I should be able to help you determine why
it's not working.
