              Research Programmer Position Available

                    Department of Psychology
                   Carnegie Mellon University

We are looking for a full-time programmer to work on studies of eye
movements during dynamic problem solving. The two tasks involve
simulations of anti-air warfare coordinator and simulations of a
controller for an unmanned flight simulator. Research tasks include
collection and analysis of eye movement data, development of cognitive
models, and development of training material.

Knowledge of C++ and/or LISP is essential. The goal of the research is
to use non-intrusive eye movement recording to improve training on
high-performance systems.

This is a position that will appeal to someone who wants to work with
state-of-the art eye movement equipment or on state-of-the-art cognitive
modeling.
