Dear Sir or Madam,

on March 10 we organize an invited workshop on "Usable Security and Privacy" in Darmstadt, Germany. The workshop is sponsored by the EIT ICT Labs and is organized in cooperation with CASED, CAST, and GI. This workshop is not affiliated with SOUPS. However, it might be of great interest to the SOUPS community.

The goals of this workshop are to get an overview of the latest research results from the connected research disciplines, to identify concrete research questions and next steps in the context of usable security and privacy. Furthermore, we would like to bring people from different areas (research, industry, policy makers) and different disciplines (security and usability, software engineering, social and legal sciences, and psychology) together and commonly discuss these topics.

We are pleased to have a very interesting list of experts in this area for both the talks and the panel. This list contains people like Andrew Clark, Heather Lipford, Karen Renaud, Angela Sasse, Thorsten Strufe, and Michael Waidner.

You can find further information on the workshop in the attached pdf-file or on the webpage of the workshop at http://usasecpriv2011.cased.de.

Kind regards,

Johannes Buchmann
