We've updated the SOUPS website http://cups.cs.cmu.edu/soups/
with information about the SOUPS 2010 workshops to be held on the first day of SOUPS, July 14, in Redmond, WA. This year's workshops feature not only great topics, but also terrific acronyms.

Usable Security Experiment Reports (USER) Workshop
http://cups.cs.cmu.edu/soups/2010/user.html

The USER workshop is an opportunity for researchers to discuss their experiences in conducting user studies in usable security, and for newcomers to learn from this collective experience. We hope to bring together researchers with backgrounds in security or usability, to share knowledge of how to collect appropriate data for conducting suitable security analysis and meaningful usability evaluation.

Security & Privacy Usability Technology Transfer: Emerging Research (SPUTTER) Workshop
http://cups.cs.cmu.edu/soups/2010/sputter.html

This workshop will provide a chance for those who have encountered, are interested in, or have solved the problems that come with usable security and privacy tech transfer to share ideas -- stories, tips & tricks, and lessons learned -- for what works and what doesn't. The workshop should be of interest to anyone in industry or public policy who wants to share tech transfer experiences or to anyone in academia who sees tech transfer in their future.

Submissions to both workshops are due May 8.

We're also soliciting submissions to the SOUPS poster session. These submissions are due May 28. SOUPS posters can present work in progress or work recently published elsewhere.
