<p>The evolution of mobile networks into heterogeneous ecosystems of
wearables and edge infrastructure has brought us to a critical
junction: the <strong>"AI Compute-Energy Crisis."</strong> As
modern models push the thermal and energy limits of constrained
hardware, how do we make intelligence truly sustainable?</p>
<p>We invite you to submit your latest research to <strong>EMPOWER
2026</strong> (Energy-efficient Machine learning for
Performance-Optimized Wireless and Edge NetwoRks), held in
conjunction with <strong>MobiSys 2026</strong> in Cambridge, UK.</p>

<h3>About EMPOWER 2026</h3>

<p>EMPOWER bridges the gap between the machine learning and mobile
systems communities. We explore the full lifecycle of mobile
intelligence through two primary lenses:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>AI for Networks:</strong> Scalable, trustworthy
intelligence to optimize non-stationary network conditions and
next-gen connectivity.</li>
<li><strong>Systems for AI:</strong> Lightweight architectures,
brain-inspired computing, and intelligent workload scheduling
for viable edge intelligence.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Key Topics Include:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>AI-native 6G architectures and trustworthy network
operations.</li>
<li>On-device Generative AI and model compression.</li>
<li>Brain-inspired (neuromorphic) systems and hardware-aware ML.</li>
<li>Real-world system deployments and experimental testbeds.</li>
</ul>
