<div dir="ltr"><div>[This announcement may be of interest to members of the Connectionists community]<div><br></div><div>=====================================================================<br> CIBB 2026: CALL FOR SPECIAL SESSION PROPOSALS<br>=====================================================================<br><br>Dear CIBB Enthusiasts and Newcomers,<br><br>The 21st edition of the Computational Intelligence Methods for<br>Bioinformatics and Biostatistics conference (CIBB 2026) will take<br>place at Sapienza University of Rome from 2 to 4 September 2026.<br><br>CIBB 2026 continues its tradition as an international, multidisciplinary<br>forum focused on advanced computational techniques for bioinformatics,<br>biostatistics, and medical informatics.<br><br>---------------------------------------------------------------------<br><br>The Call for Special Session Proposals for CIBB 2026 is now open.<br><br>Special Sessions are intended to provide focused forums on well-defined<br>or emerging research topics within the scope of the conference,<br>promoting both scientific depth and community engagement.<br><br>=====================================================================<br>KEY INFORMATION<br>=====================================================================<br><br>- Submission deadline: February 12th, 2026<br><br>- Each Special Session must include at least 4 accepted papers.<br> In the event that fewer papers are accepted, they will be incorporated<br> into the conference’s main tracks.<br><br>- The conference will provide a dedicated webpage for each approved<br> Special Session. This page may be used by the proposers to advertise<br> the session, present its scope and objectives, and disseminate<br> information to the research community.<br><br>- Approved Special Sessions will also be promoted through the official<br> CIBB 2026 communication channels and social media profiles, in<br> coordination with the session proposers.<br><br>- A Special Session may include one invited speaker, subject to approval<br> by the Scientific Committee.
