<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Interestingly, I asked John Hopfield, who was my postdoc host at Caltech in 1989-90, whether he thought he would eventually get the Nobel Prize, and he responded with a laugh, saying that there is no such prize for “artificial
neural networks”. Well, now there is. Congratulations to two pioneers, who deserve
