The BRAIN NeuroAI Workshop will bring together researchers across career levels and diverse fields to explore how the NIH BRAIN Initiative’s data and tools can reciprocally advance emerging theories and technologies at the intersection
of neuroscience and artificial intelligence. Discovering fundamental principles of intelligence in biological and artificial systems will require new approaches, models, metrics, and ethical frameworks for transformative advances in understanding brains, brain-like
computing, and future applications for advancing brain health. This workshop will inform the NIH BRAIN Initiative about the directions and needs of current and future NeuroAI research and related approaches, including neuromorphic engineering, embodied cognition,
and physical intelligence.
