in artificial intelligence and learning in Healthcare

Artificial Intelligence (AI), in particular Artificial Learning
(AL), becomes a useful solution for many complex human-centred
problems. In healthcare, various approaches based on AI/ML have
been proposed as innovative solutions for several research
problems in health data analysis related to detection, diagnosis,
surveillance, prediction, decision-making, etc.

The aim of this special session is to bring together researchers
and scientists from academia and industry, as well as
practitioners working in this field, to present and discuss their
recent studies and developments. We welcome research contributions
for the following (but not limited to) topics:

AI/AL for health informatics

AI/AL for digital health (health information, health services,
telehealth, health online, digital healthcare, digital
therapeutics, mobile health, …)

AI/AL for biomedical and health-related data processing
(segmentation, denoising, compression, classification,
clustering, forecasting, …)

AI/AL for biomedical signal analysis and processing (EEG, ECG,
PPG, PCG, EMG, EOG, …)

AI/AL for medical image analysis and processing (MRI, fMRI,
DTI, PET, CT, SPECT, DOT, …)

AI/AL-driven tools for problem-solving and decision-making in
healthcare

AI/AL for diseases detection, diagnosis, and/or surveillance

AI/AL for epidemic tracking and forecasting

AI/AL in biomedical engineering

AI/AL in bioinformatics

AI/AL in brain-computer interfaces (BCI)

AI/AL in neurofeedback

AI/AL in neural rehabilitation engineering

Smart healthcare and related applications (IoT, IoMT, Big
Data, Cloud/Edge/Fog computing, …)
