<b>Your responsibilities</b></div>

<li>Contribute and actively shape the research and development of the next generation of neuroscience-inspired machine learning/AI methods</li><li>Work closely with a team of computational neuroscientists, machine learning engineers and software developers towards business solutions </li><li>Stay up to date with the latest developments at the intersection of neuroscience and AI through literature search and attendance of conferences, and integrate relevant findings into ongoing projects</li></ul>

<b>Required experience and skills</b></div>

<ul class="MailOutline">
<li>PhD with a focus on Machine Learning, Neuroscience-inspired AI, Computational Neuroscience, or a related field (or equal experience: Master and 4+ years of research experience)</li><li>Good understanding of the fundamentals of Machine Learning, including Deep Learning</li><li>Interest and exposure to (Computational) Neuroscience</li><li>Strong Python software engineering skills and knowledge of the main libraries (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, etc.)</li><li>Experience in using machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn and PyTorch/JAX/TensorFlow</li><li>Ability to work autonomously and to design and conduct rigorous research experiments</li><li>Excellent team player with a strong desire to learn and share knowledge</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to produce high-quality visualizations to present research results</li><li>Experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems</li><li>Fluent in spoken and written English</li></ul>
