</tt><tt>to start immediately. Employment at HSBI will be as a
lecturer for special assignments with the aim of enhancing your
profile and qualifying for professorship at a university of
applied sciences. As part of the employment, you will gain
practical professional experience in the university context and
get to know the diverse tasks of university routines. Accompanied
by your mentor, you will add to your teaching and research
experience, take part in qualification offers and thus enhance
your profile for appointability as a professor at a university of
applied sciences.</tt><tt><br>

</tt><tt>As part of your employment at SNAP GmbH, you will gain
practical experience outside HSBI. You will be part of an
interdisciplinary team and contribute to the development of
brain-computer interfaces (BCI), which are to be used for
neuromarketing. The focus will be on software development and
signal processing, primarily using AI methods. To collect data and
validate the developed procedures, you will conduct studies with
test persons.</tt><tt><br>

</tt><tt>The position will be 74.9% with HSBI and 25.1% with SNAP
GmbH. As part of your employment with HSBI, you will be assigned
to the cooperation partner for 10 hours per week. A majority of
the working hours will be spent at one of the locations in
Bielefeld or – preferably – Bochum. By agreement and depending on
project progress, flexible work-on-the-move periods will be
possible. Teaching can take place in compact courses or in hybrid
format with regard to the project.</tt><tt><br>

or Diplom) in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Cognitive or

</tt><tt>- Doctorate in one of the areas mentioned above related to
machine learning</tt><tt><br>
</tt><tt>- Advanced programming skills in Python and common AI
frameworks</tt><tt><br>

findings in journals and at conferences</tt><tt><br>
