learning, computer vision and computational modeling at the Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon, USA. The research will focus on development and implementation of machine learning and computer vision algorithms and their applications
to biomedical data, especially for early cancer detection and precision oncology. The candidate will be a member of the renowned Knight Cancer Institute and the newly founded Center for Biomedical Data Science at OHSU. The candidate will also have the opportunity
to interact with several leading international academic institutions and major industry partners with whom we have built collaborations. The PhD students will have their degrees awarded through the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Many of our trainees
