led by the principal investigator, Associate Professor Silvia Tolu. LOCOPD project focuses on understanding the motor impairments experienced by people living with Parkinson’s Disease (PD). The project contributes to the main vision of our neurorobotics technology
lab to apply biological control concepts both in simulation and on physical robots to investigate neuroscientific hypotheses on biological processes related to motor control and learning. The research assistant will help the team in the investigation of the
breakdown in motor circuitry associated with PD. Their tasks will range from the development of spiking neural networks to the implementation of protocols for testing and analysis of the network output.</span></span></span></span><br style="">

The ideal candidate holds a degree in neuromorphic engineering, computational neuroscience, or another relevant field.</span></span></span></span><br style="">
