Cognition (SaC) Lab of the Cognitive Sciences Department at the University of
California, Irvine is soliciting applications from engineers for a postdoctoral
research position in cognitive neuroscience. The researcher will work with
incoming sleep data from a study using light therapy in older adults with mild
cognitive impairment, as well as developing new analysis techniques on existing
data sets related to sleep and memory consolidation. Successful candidates
should have experience in applying signal processing and non-linear analysis
techniques to EEG/ECG recordings, as well as programming skills. Experience in
sleep methodology is desirable, but not essential. Researchers must possess a
