<div id="page" class=""><p style="text-align: justify;" class="">ICPRAI 2022 is seeking
innovative, high-quality and potentially interdisciplinary proposals for
Special Sessions (SS) that complement the regular program of the
conference. </p><p style="text-align: justify;" class="">We consider two major opportunities:</p>
<ol style="text-align: justify;" class="">
<li class="">SS focused on theory of Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence: proofs, new algorithms and models…</li>
<li class="">SS focused on application area, e.g. cultural heritage, medical applications, remote sensing, etc.</li>
</ol><p style="text-align: justify;" class=""><strong class="">Number of expected papers per SS</strong>: 5</p>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;" class="">Submission procedure</h3><p style="text-align: justify;" class="">Reasearchers willing to submit a proposal for a special session should provide a proposition in a <strong class="">single pdf file</strong>. The submission file should be prepared using the <a href="https://icprai2022.sciencesconf.org/data/icprai2022_title_of_the_proposed_special_session.doc" class="">following template</a> and should contain the following information:</p>
<ul style="text-align: justify;" class="">
<li class="">A title for the Special Session and the names of the organizers;</li>
<li class="">Brief biographies of the session organizer(s) and their contact information;</li>
<li class="">Brief description of the theme and importance of the Session, number of submissions expected (1 page);</li>
<li class="">Proposal of particular PC committee (name, country, institution/research lab);</li>
<li class="">List of potential contributors and topics of interest.</li>
</ul><p style="text-align: justify;" class="">Proposals should be sent directly by email to the Special Session Chairs: <a href="mailto:jenny.benois-pineau@u-bordeaux.fr" class="">jenny.benois-pineau@u-bordeaux.fr</a> and <a href="mailto:rdl@ufpe.br" class="">rdl@ufpe.br</a></p><p style="text-align: justify;" class="">The SS propositions will be
evaluated based on the timeliness of the topic as well as the
qualifications of the organizers, the authors of the expected papers and
the chosen PC committee.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;" class="">Guideline for accepted special sessions</h3><p style="text-align: justify;" class="">Upon acceptance of the special session
proposal, the contributed papers will be submitted in the same format as
regular papers (see <a href="https://icprai2022.sciencesconf.org/resource/page/id/4" class="">Author guidelines</a>). Organizers should not contribute more than two papers. The
papers for special sessions will be managed as special tracks in our
easychair CMS. Session organizers will have to invite their own Program
Committees and to manage the reviewing process. Each paper will have to
be reviewed by 3 reviewers chosen among the specific program committee.
The special session chairs with the general program chairs will use
these reviews to determine which papers will be accepted for
presentation in the conference. </p>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;" class="">Important dates</h3>
