<div style="margin: 0px;">A joint PhD position is available in the labs of Julio Martinez-Trujillo and Lyle Muller at Western University (London, Ontario). The student will analyze data recorded from iPSC-derived neuronal cultures to understand the network
mechanisms of neuronal dynamics in health and disease. Research in this project will focus on applying analysis techniques from the dynamics of spiking networks and developing computational models to understand the mechanisms underlying observed activity patterns.
Results from the modeling and analysis will be compared to <i>in vivo</i> non-human primate recordings done in the lab of Dr. Martinez-Trujillo.</div>

<div style="margin: 0px;">This research will involve in-depth analyses of neural recordings and computational modeling. Prior experience with scientific computing languages (MATLAB, Julia, or Python) and signal processing is preferred. Prior experience with
low-level programming languages (C/C++) and high-performance computing environments is also preferred. Western University offers an excellent research environment and support. Candidates can write to
