This candidate will carry out research investigate the role of multimodal interaction and theory of mind in human robot interaction and the acceptability and trust of robot companions. A PhD in Computer science, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence or allied disciplines
is required. Excellent programming skills are essential, as well as robotics research skills. Knowledge of human-robot interaction research with the elderly is a desirable skill.</p>
