<div class="">Description</div>
<div class="">The postdoctoral fellow will work with Parisa Kordjamshidi’s research group. There are three possible research directions depending on the interests, expertise and the qualifications of the candidate:</div>
<div class="">1) Processing biomedical images as well as signals taken from artificial nerve tissues.</div>
<div class="">2) Natural language processing and extraction of semantics from language. In this direction we are interested in combining visual and textual data for understanding spatial information.</div>
<div class="">3) Research and development related to declarative learning based programming. In developing this framework, our goal is to facilitate the design of structured machine learning techniques where we enable using declarative domain knowledge in learning.</div>
