The techniques we employ rely on dynamical systems (with delays, multiple timescales, nonlocal terms or jumps) and stochastic processes (statistical physics), and our research topics include the analysis of the dynamics of neuron model or neural networks with heterogeneous elements, learning, memory and pathological brain states, as well as the embryonic development of neural assemblies. </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span class="" style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 9.5pt;">All projects will involve heavy collaboration with experimental groups in the Boston area, Paris and abroad. The positions are up to 3 year terms, contingent upon satisfactory progress, with competitive salary and benefits packages. The fellows will participate to the vibrant scholar life in the Boston area.
