<div dir="ltr">The newly formed Social & Media Neuroscience Lab at Michigan State University is looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to conduct fMRI studies on social<div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small;display:inline"> </div>reward processing and how it relates to social media use. Primary responsibilities will include designing and programming experiments, recruiting participants, analyzing behavioral and fMRI data, preparing conference presentations, and publishing research. This post is ideally suited for someone aiming for an independent research career with a focus on social, communication or decision neuroscience.<br><br>The initial appointment will be for 1 year, with opportunity for reappointment for an additional 1 year conditional on satisfactory performance. The anticipated start date is winter 2018.<br><br>Minimum Requirements:<br>- Doctoral degree in psychology, neuroscience, communication, computer science, statistics, or related fields<br>- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills<br>- Experience analyzing neuroimaging data (e.g., FSL, SPM, etc.)<br>- Experience in programming (e.g., MATLAB, Python, etc.)<br><br>Required Application Materials:<br>Applications should include: (1) a cover letter indicating research interests and experience, (2) a curriculum vita, and (3) names and contact information for three professional references.
