<span style="color:rgb(0,0,0); font-family:Arial; font-size:16px">We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to take an active role in the group’s research on advancing deep learning methodology. Special emphasis will be given to deep convolutional neural
networks for image analysis and to autoencoders. </span><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0); font-family:Arial; font-size:16px">The overarching basic research idea is to leverage the power of kernel machines for advancing deep neural networks, focusing particularly
on unsupervised learning. The aim is to </span><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0); font-family:Arial; font-size:16px">jointly advance deep learning (convolutional neural networks, autoencoders) and kernel machines (spectral clustering, dimensionality reduction,
manifold learning), by synergistically coupling those paradigms.</span></div>

decision and diagnosis support, based on analysis of heterogeneous data from electronic health records (close collaboration with the University Hospital of North Norway). </span></div>
