groups; <b>the Centre for Robotics and Neural Systems (CRNS)</b>, the Centre for Security, Communications and Network Research (CSCAN) or the newly established Big Data and Machine Learning research group.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">You are expected to be able to contribute to teaching across the Electronics, Robotics and Computer Science curriculum with initial teaching duties in Advanced Embedded Programming; Parallel Computation and
Distributed Systems.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">This post targets candidates with an interest in building an international research track record in terms of publishing in international fora, securing external research funding and contributing to the supervision
of PhD students, Masters students and Undergraduate students. The School typically awards several PhD bursaries each year, giving priority to new / young research supervisors. You will also be expected to deliver lectures and practical classes on high-level
programming with object-orientated software interfacing embedded systems to mixed signal devices. We are particularly keen on candidates with experience of Parallel computing, Real-Time and Robotic Operating Systems. You will make an active and tangible contribution
to programme development and student recruitment across the suite of Electronics, Robotics and Computer Science undergraduate and postgraduate courses.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">You should hold a PhD in a relevant discipline and demonstrate an established REF-level research track-record. You should ideally have experience in teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate students and
in supervising undergraduate/masters/doctoral students. You will also be expected to take part in curriculum development and course management as required. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">This is a full-time post working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
