<p>if you are considering to do a postdoc in the field of <b>Computational
Neuroscience</b> at the Ruhr University in Bochum, Germany, the
following program might be of interest for you. <br>
</p>
<p><b>The program: </b>Research Explorer Ruhr (RER) is a programme
for international early career researchers (doctoral or early
postdoctoral level), who are interested in exploring the research
landscape in the Ruhr Area and Bochum in particular. If you
consider doing a postdoc at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, but are not
sure if it is the right fit for you, RER offers you the
opportunity to come to Bochum for a 2-week stay to explore
postdoctoral opportunities at an institute that fits your research
profile. </p>
<p><b>The host:</b> Prof. Dr. Sen Cheng from the Institute for
Neural Computation is one of the hosts participating in the RER
program. His group studies the cognitive and neural mechanisms of
episodic memory and spatial navigation. Applications for a visit
in Prof. Cheng's group via the RER program can be send <b>until
31 March 2017 latest</b> (extended deadline). If you wish to
