  led by Prof. Giraud at the University of Geneva to explore the link between predictive coding and cortical oscillations in speech processing. The project reaches beyond one sensory modality to ask a question of broad interest to basic neuroscience, namely,
 the role of oscillations in information transfer in the brain.</span></p>
