<li>Development and implementation of novel Deep Learning (DL) algorithms with focus on industrial application domains, e.g. computer vision for highly automated driving, robotics, internet of things, and industry 4.0</li><li>Content-oriented leadership & guidance of existing Deep Learning and Machine Learning experts</li><li>Strategy development for the field of DL with focus on Bosch applications, support in strategic decision making with regard to various product lines</li><li>Evaluation and comparison of DL algorithms for specific applications and related tasks, in particular with regard to performance, training, and suitability for embedded applications</li><li>Technical discussions and creation of new ideas & applications within the existing machine learning research team</li><li>Close contact to the scientific and industrial community in DL, scouting and assessment of new approaches, publications on top conferences and journals</li><li>Software contributions to our GPU Cluster</li></span></font>

<li>Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics, with Ph.D. in Machine Learning (preferably Deep Learning)</li><li>Long lasting experience in development and implementation of state-of-the art DL technologies, for diverse applications</li><li>Proven programming skills, in particular C++ and Python, strong experience with DL frameworks such as Caffe, Theano, Pylearn2, Torch</li><li>Broad knowledge of machine learning algorithms & principles</li><li>Ability for leadership, teamwork, motivation for international collaboration and travel, and strong English skills</li></span></font>
