3 year full time postdoctoral position at the Sackler Centre for<br>

Consciousness Science, University of Sussex.<br>

<br>

Applications are invited from highly motivated post-doctoral research<br>

scientists to join a newly funded multi-partner European project.<br>

TIMESTORM promotes time perception as a fundamental capacity of<br>

autonomous living biological and computational systems, that plays a<br>

key role in the development of intelligence. The project aims to<br>

explore the coupling of time and mind and implement for the first time<br>

artificial systems that consider the temporal aspects of cognition.<br>

The available position, within the Sackler Centre for Consciousness<br>

Science, will involve cognitive neuroscience research on the brain<br>

basis of time perception.<br>
