Connectionists: Job position in Computational Neuroscience at the Institute of Biophysics (National Research Council - Italy)

*The Institute of Biophysics of the Italian National Research Council seeks
applicants for a position in Computational Neuroscience in the laboratory
of Michele Migliore (Palermo, Italy). We are seeking extremely motivated
individuals to work in a highly collaborative project.*
The project involves the implementation of tools/applications to operate,
improve, and maintain a user-oriented simulation platform.  A Master or PhD
in Physics, Informatics, Computational Neuroscience, Biomedical
Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field is required. The
position is funded by the EU Human Brain Project. Salary follows the
National Research Council scale for pre or post-doctoral status. The ideal
candidate will have a consolidated experience in Pyhton, C, Object Oriented
programming, development of web-application, and both front- and back-end
web technologies (e.g. html, javascript, css, django, flask,…). A basic
knowledge of the Italian language is required for foreign candidates.
