Dear all,



On *3-5th May* 2018, the first edition of Madrid Brainhack will take place
at the ETSI Telecomunicaciones (UPM), as part of the Brainhack Global event
(May 2-6). During this three-day event, dedicated to students and PhD
students, we will work in teams on *computational neuroscience-related
projects*.

The aim of the event is to collaborate on projects, meet new researchers,
make new friendships in academia, learn, share the knowledge on data mining
and brain research, but also promote open science in the spirit of the
whole Brainhack community (Craddock et al., 2016)

In this first edition, a panel of speakers of first-level quality will be
supporting personally the event, giving tutorials for beginners users and
masterclass for more advanced users. Moreover, some sponsored projects are
proposed; one of them would be directly presented in the National Hackathon
of e-Health in June (http://laesalud.com/hackathonsalud/). For that,
computational resources will be provided by QMENTA during the time between

will be realised during the event. Projects can be side projects, projects
you were always interested in, but never had time to work on, new ideas you
want to explore…
