Connectionists: Vector Institute Openings

The newly formed Vector Institute in Toronto, Canada is seeking applications
for a number of Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow openings in areas
related to machine learning and deep learning and their applications,
including natural language, health, robotics, transportation, biology, and
vision.

Several Vector Institute members will be attending NIPS this week, and
available for informal discussions:

   Jimmy Ba, Juan Carrasquilla, David Duvenaud, Murat A. Erdogdu, Sanja
   Fidler, Anna Goldenberg, Roger Grosse, Dan Roy, Graham Taylor, Raquel
   Urtasun, Sageev Oore, and Richard Zemel

These positions are part of a multi-year expansion in machine learning.

We are seeking candidates with research interests and experience in the
theory and application of machine learning and deep learning methods, with
substantial publication records and strong research potential. Candidates
from all areas of machine learning will be considered. Multiple positions
are available.
