Connectionists: New MS in Data Science at NYU

Dear All,

NYU recently announced the launch of the Center for Data Science (CDS)
as part of a university-wide initiative in data science and statistics.

The CDS is a multi-disciplinary center that will bring people who
produce theory, tools, and methods (from mathematics, statistics and
computer science) together with people who need to extract knowledge
from data from the physical, life and social sciences, as well as from
business, government, and medicine.

The CDS is rolling out a new Master's program in Data Science which will
begin in September 2013.
Applications are now open. The deadline for applications is April 1,
but we will consider applications submitted after the deadline.
