ICIAP 2013 in Napoli, Italy, http://www.iciap2013-naples.org/, is an 
historic international conference in image processing and pattern 
recognition endorsed by the International Association for Pattern 
Recognition (IAPR), the Technical Committe PAMI, and the IEEE 
Computational Intelligence Society.

One of the main tracks is:

- Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning: Supervised and unsupervised 
learning; Neural networks; Kernel machines; Ensemble methods; Graphical 
models; Deep learning; Soft computing (fuzzy theory, rough theory, 
possibilistic theory); Dimensionality reduction; Feature selection

Please note that selected best papers will be collected in the 'Pattern 
Recognition Letters' and 'Information Sciences' journals. We are also 
running other special issues of journals of your interest.

The submission deadline is March 29, 2013.

Extended versions of selected papers will be considered for inclusion in 
a special section of  the "Pattern Recognition Letters" journal and in 
the "Information Sciences" journal.

ICIAP 2013 - TUTORIALS AND WORKSHOPS

9, 10 and 11, 2013, right before the main conference.
