Workshop Description
The aim of this meeting is to discuss the requirements and design of
an open source machine learning toolbox. Recently, there has been a
collaborative effort among NICTA Canberra, MPI Tuebingen, Fraunhofer
Berlin, Fraunhofer Darmstadt, and INSA de Rouen to develop such a
toolkit codenamed LINEAL and ELEFANT. This set of tools uses Python
as an interface language and currently uses PETSc as a numerical back
end. The workshop is for the collaborators to investigate the
different strategies for developing the toolbox.

We would appreciate an email to SVN Vishwanathan at (SVN -dot-
Vishwanathan -at- nicta.com.au) if you are interested in attending
the meeting.
