POSITION IN DATA MINING, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE OR MACHINE LEARNING

Department of Management Science, HEC Montréal

The Department of Management Science at HEC Montreal invites
applications for a tenure-track position in data mining, artificial
intelligence or machine learning at the rank of assistant, associate
or full professor. Priority will be given to candidates with high
interest and expertise in data mining, but candidates with interests
and expertise in related fields will also be considered.

HEC Montréal is affiliated with the University of Montreal and is

Duties: Undergraduate and graduate teaching, supervision of graduate
students, and research.

Requirements: To hold a Ph.D. degree in Computing Science, Statistics,
Operations Research or in a related discipline. Teaching excellence is
required as well as a strong aptitude for research. The main language
of instruction at HEC is French; however, there are also programs and
courses offered in English and Spanish.

Starting date: June 1, 2003.

a concise statement of their research interests, the coordinates of
three references, and copies of at most three of their most important
