include setting up a research team. This includes ordering
and setting up equipment, possibly including a small research
submarine (!), and creating and leading a small (3-5-person)
research group. Starlab wants to create a marine biology
research center in Barcelona, focusing on extremophiles
and ocean pollution studies. Applications are invited from
candidates with a Ph.D. in marine biology. The applicant
should have a proven record of scholarly publication, as well
as several years of postdoctoral experience in the field

Senior Scientist to lead the Genes group: The tasks
include creating and leading a small (3-5-person) research
group. Our goal is to build a center for gene therapy ("virus
domestication lab" in the case of viral therapy) in Starlab
Barcelona. Applications are invited from candidates with a
Ph.D. in genetics and experience in viral therapy.

Robotics or AI Senior Scientist: The candidate is expected
