JOB: Engineer needed in Florida

NeuroDimension will be starting a research project in August 2000 to design,
develop, and prototype a neural network controlled ventilator. This project
involves cutting-edge neural network and bioengineering technology and is
completely funded for a minimum of 2 years.

NeuroDimension is looking for full-time and part-time engineers or computer
scientists with bachelor’s degree or better. In addition, we can also
provide research assistantships for masters or Ph.D. students. Good
candidates for these positions should have skills in ONE OR MORE of the
following areas and be willing to learn many of the others:
- Neural networks
- Digital control
- Digital signal processing
- Bioengineering (especially knowledge of the respiratory system)
- Electrical circuit design and microcontroller software
- Software design and development

NeuroDimension is located in Gainesville (link http://www.state.fl.us/gvl)
in north-central Florida. The pay for a full-time engineering position
ranges from $37K to $45K per year. Benefits include health, dental, and
