A new book with the title "Radial Basis Function Neural
Networks: Design and Applications has been commissioned by
publishers Springer Verlag.  The editors are Dr R.J.Howlett,
University of Brighton, UK, and Prof L.C.Jain, University of
South Australia.  Series editor is Prof J.Kacprzyk, Polish
Academy of Sciences.

Five chapters have been contributed:
Introduction to RBF networks
Training Algorithms for Robust RBF Neural Networks
Hierarchical Radial Basis Neural Networks
Biomedical Applications of Radial Basis Function Networks
Servocontroller Applications using Radial Basis Function
Networks

Proposals are invited for additional chapters in areas of
RBF network architectures, clustering/training algorithms,
applications, practical experience of use, or other relevant
areas.
