Below is a notice concerning a postdoctoral position in our lab for
someone interested in motor control, learning, and development.

Postdoctoral Fellowship

A postdoctoral fellowship will be available starting Jan 1, 1998 for
interdisciplinary research related to the development of motor skills in
human infants. The project involves collaboration between computer
science researchers and developmental psychologists focusing on the
development of reaching skills in infants. The goals are to develop
computational models of motor learning that are  consistent with modern
developmental data and to design and conduct behavioral experiments
related to these models. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in  Computer
Science, Psychology, or a related discipline, have knowledge of motor
control, modeling techniques, programming experience, and should show
evidence of  exceptional research promise.  The position is in the
Adaptive Networks  Laboratory, Department of Computer Science,
