WORKSHOP ON HIPPOCAMPAL MODELING
			January 9-11, 1998
at Agora for Biosystems, Sigtuna, Sweden

There are many modeling efforts regarding the hippocampus and its
functions, in particular its learning capacities. In this meeting we
will review some of these models and discuss their biological relevance,
and in what direction future modeling efforts should go. The workshop is
intended to promote an active dialogue between modelers and
experimentalists.

Some oral presentations will be given, but the main focus is on formal
and informal discussions. Invited participants include Per Andersen
(Oslo), Michael Hasselmo (Harvard), William Levy (Charlottesville),
Sakire Pogun (Izmir), and Sven-Ove Ogren (Stockholm).

The program and additional information will be available on the
following web site, http://www.theophys.kth.se/~hali/agora/hippoc.html

We welcome interested modellers and experimentalists to make early
registrations with the organizers (the total number of participants
is limited to 25). Please, also indicate whether you would like to
give a short oral presentation.
