The growing Cognitive Science group at Warwick has available a three-year
BBSRC Special Studentship, to commence October 1997, leading to a PhD in
Psychology.  The general topic is applications of neural network modelling
to experimental psychology results in learning, categorisation, and memory.
Applicants should have or expect a first degree or MSc in a field such as
Psychology, Cognitive Science, or Computer Science, and some experience in
experimental psychology or computer modelling (but not necessarily both).
The Research Committee Special Studentship is intended primarily for UK
residents, and it attracts a higher level of stipend than other Research
Council studentships.
