NEUROETHOLOGY OF MOTOR PATTERN GENERATION


Postdoctoral position available immediately for three years to investigate
neuroethological aspects of motor pattern generators and their coordination.
The position is associated with an NSF sponsored collaborative research
project between Michael Arbib (University of Southern California) and
Ananda Weerasuriya (Mercer University School of Medicine, GA), and will be
based at the latter location.  The primary focus will be on characterizing the
behavior and electromyography of rapidly adapting prey capture patterns of
frogs.  Experience with chronic electrophysiological recording techniques in
small animals is highly desirable.  Please send vita, summary of research
