CONNECTIONIST:  The Human Information Processing Group (HIPG) at
Princeton University offers a position for a member of the
professional research staff to coordinate a broad range of
research in human information processing and to conduct research
in neural networks, connectionist, or PDP-style models.  The
applicant should have some interest or background in neuro-science
and its relation to neural network models and be willing to
collaborate or interact with neuroscience faculty.  The applicant
should also have a familiarity with main-stream cognitive science
areas, human factors, and computational modeling more generally.
Ph.D. required.  Applications should be submitted before 1
September 1988.

HIPG is an inter-disciplinary group within Princeton University
consisting of psychologists, engineers, philosophers, linguists,
and computer scientists.  Its facilities include the Cognitive
Science Lab, the Interactive Computer Graphics Lab, the Robotics
Lab, the Engineering Anomalies Lab, and the Cognitive Motivation
