such as the Annual Meeting of the Society for Mathematical Psychology is an
important way for individuals to become known in the professional community and
to develop collaborative relationships with other professionals in the field.
Given the relatively short time frame of the tenure period, it is essential
that individuals begin to appear at professional meetings early in their
careers. Therefore, the purpose of this award is to provide funds for graduate
students and postdocs to participate in and network at the 2017 </span><span class="" style="font-family: arial;">Professional Development Symposium and </span><span style="font-family: arial;" class="">joint
MathPsych / ICCM 2017 Conference, University of Warwick, July 22-25, 2017.</span><br class=""><span style="font-family: arial;" class=""> </span><br class=""><span style="font-family: arial;" class="">Funds are available for up to 4 awards up to $800
each.</span><br class=""><span style="font-family: arial;" class=""> </span><br class=""><b class=""><span style="font-family:arial" class="">Eligibility:</span></b><br class=""><span style="font-family: arial;" class="">Applicants must be:</span><br class=""><span style="font-family: arial;" class="">1.     A female scientist</span><br class=""><span style="font-family: arial;" class="">2.     A graduate student or
postdoctoral fellow</span><br class=""><span style="font-family: arial;" class="">3.     Presenting a talk or
poster at the MathPsych/ICCM 2017 Conference</span><br class=""><span style="font-family: arial;" class="">4.     A US citizen or permanent
