<html><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; ">6 postdoc positions in cognitive science / cognitive neuroscience and education<br><br>Reflecting five large new grants from several different federal funding agencies, the Learning Research and Development Center at the<br>University of Pittsburgh is seeking candidates for up to 6 new postdoctoral fellows in the area of connecting cognitive science /<br>cognitive neuroscience to formal and informal education to begin as early as September 2008 and possibly as late as January 2009. Faculty<br>advisors for these positions include: Kevin Crowley, Julie Fiez, Tim Nokes, Walter Schneider, Christian Schunn, and Natasha Tokowicz.<br>Positions are for one to three years. The salaries are approximately $38,000/year plus traditional benefits. Relevant backgrounds include<br>the cognitive and learning sciences broadly, and particularly relevant is some experience in higher-level cognition, second language learning/<br>psycholinguistics, mathematical cognition, scientific reasoning, training research, or cognitive neuroscience and brain imaging.<br>Candidates must have completed their dissertations prior to commencing the postdoc position.
