<p>The aim of CISP 2008 is to bring together researchers working in many <br>different areas of image and signal processing to foster exchange of <br>new ideas. </p>
<p>The CISP 2008 proceedings will be published by the IEEE and will be <br>indexed in both EI and ISTP. Selected good papers will be recommended <br>for publication in SCI/SCI-E indexed international journals. </p>
<p>CISP 2008 will be co-located with the 2008 International Conference on <br>BioMedical Engineering and Informatics (BMEI 2008: <a href="http://www/">http://www</a>.<br><a href="http://hainu.edu.cn/BMEI2008">hainu.edu.cn/BMEI2008
</a>), in order to promote cross-fertilization <br>between the broad areas of biomedical engineering and signal <br>processing.</p>
